After months of writing, editing, and reliving some of the most beautiful and bittersweet moments of my life, SCOUT will officially be available to the world.
This is more than just a book. It’s the life story of one extraordinary dog who changed everything — for me, for our sanctuary, and for countless people and animals along the way.
Scout was our AmbassaDOG, our gentle giant with a big heart and an even bigger appetite (especially for bananas). He painted with his snout — yes, painted! — creating joyful pieces we called Scoutcassos. He visited senior centers, worked with people living with Alzheimer’s, and taught us all how love can bridge any gap.
In SCOUT, you’ll find:

- Life lessons about resilience, kindness, and finding joy in unexpected places
But this book isn’t just about remembering Scout — it’s about continuing his mission.
A portion of all proceeds will go toward helping other sanctuaries and rescues in need, so that more animals like Scout can find safety, love, and purpose.
